Monetize Your Site With Bidvertiser

Everyone, introducing to you Bidvertiser, one of the very few viable Google Adsense alternatives around. For those of you who could not make the cut to get into Google Adsense, don’t lose heart, try out Bidvertiser now as Bidvertiser is an easier advertising network to get into which still offers decent pay per click (PPC) advertisements. Anyway, here’s a review of Bidvertiser for you :) .

Bidvertiser is essentially an advertising network which offers pay per click (PPC) advertisements to publishers. This means that publishers get paid on a “per click” basis, which means the more clicks the advertisement on your site gets, the more money you earn. Bidvertiser is not a contextual advertising program as it does not auto select advertisements based on the content on your site, instead the editorial team assigns your site into a certain category and advertisements from that category then gets shown on your website. This is contrary to what many other webmasters who say that Bidvertiser is a contextual advertising network.

One of the things unique to Bidvertiser which separates it from many of the advertising networks out there is that advertisers actually bid on your adspace, and only the top bidder’s advertisements get shown in your adspace to maximize your revenue. According to the reports, the bids ranges from anywhere within $3.65 to $0.05. Yes, $3.65 per click on a advertisement. Don’t get too happy though, as my average income per click on the advertisements so far are only $0.07. :D

One of the features that Bidvertiser offers is the ability to control the advertisements shown on our website. This is extremely useful if you don’t want your site to show advertisements of competitors on your site, or just refrain from showing the low paying advertisements. :D

Here’s where you can filter and decide which advertisements to show on your site

Bidvertiser gives detailed reports on how different advertisements perform on your site. A big big plus if you ask me. With these detailed reports, you can virtually track how advertisements are performing and use the information collected to better target your audience. As you can see below, the click through rate (CTR) of my advertisements are incredibly low, only 0.27%. Oh well, I’m working on it. Yea, and is shows my total earnings below, only $1.12. Ignore the dates though, as the “from” date does not reflect the actual date I started showing the advertisements. As you can see, the reports can be either in “BidVertiser Summary”, “BidVertiser Details”, “Category Summary” and “Summary”, thus giving a pretty good picture on how advertisements are performing.
