Notebook? Netbook?

I just came across an article on AmitBhawani where there was a few very interesting articles about the notebook and the netbook, the first being about the Netbooks Vs Notebooks and the other being the post about the Best Laptops.

Personally I own a notebook which is a Toshiba Portege tablet PC which I classify as a notebook. It’s my main computer as I do not own any other desktop PC. While the Toshiba notebook gets the work done, I generally dislike it a lot as even though the specs my look good on paper, it’s generally as slow as anything I have every encountered. Within the first 4 months of owning it, I experienced my first blue screen of death – no thanks to Windows Xp tablet edition which was running on my Toshiba notebook.

I really can’t wait for my new computer which is going to be a MacBook. I think MacBook’s are awesome, and even though my new computer is going to have a slower processor than my current computer, I’m confident that my computing experience would be much more smoother and enjoyable.

If you were to ask me, I’ll say get a notebook if its going to be your main computer, but if you already have a power horse at home and need something portable, go for the netbook.
