I recently got my invitation to the Evernote Beta, and from playing around in it, I must say that it is impressive. In fact, it’s so impressive that It’s already one of the few applications that I usually leave open on my laptop. That’s how useful Evernote is to me now.
Remember everything.
Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere.
Evernote is basically a program where you can type and keep my notes. Not just notes notes, but information in nearly any medium, from photos to audio to scanned material to clips of webpages. Photos that are stuck on the notes in Evernote are made searchable by Evernote. Notes can be organized into different Notebooks. You can also assign tags to different notes which makes it much more easier to find and locate your notes. The killer feature of Evernote is the ability to synchronize all infromation in Evernote across all your different electronic devices, from you desktop PC to you mobile handphone.
I have about 20 invites with me. All you have to do is to leave a comment along with any ideas (if you have) on how to use it. Enjoy

This looks like just the kind of app that I need for research on the internet. Keeping all those captured bits of info organised and easily accessible when using in a Word doc. I certainly woul like to try it out.
