September 2008 Income Report

The month of September 2008 has just pass us not long ago, and I think it’s time time for my monthly income reports. This month has been a pretty good month for – it was the month I broke pass the $50 barrier and earned me $65.50.

September 2008 Income Report:

• Private deals: $64.50
• Designing work: $1
• Total: $65.50

My income was partially inflated as a couple of people bought long term advertisement and sponsorship opportunities, some even opting for a 1 year deal. The $1 from designing work you see was actually part of an experiment of mine where I designed an advertisement for a client but just charged him $1 as at that time I didn’t know the actual going rate that other designers charge.

I don’t think next much I’ll be able to bring in this much money though, as next month is the month in which I have my year-end exams. Around that time I won’t have anytime to update Drett, but I promise after my exams I’ll start posting more regularly .

Every journey starts with the first few steps, and I have just made my first few steps in my journey.

August 2008 Income Report

August 2008 has just ended a couple of days ago. August 2008 was the best month ever for me as I earned the most so far in this month .

August 2008 Income Report:

• Private paid posts: $9
• Bloggerwave: $10
• Private advertisement deals: $15.85
• Total: 34.85

The total income I received for the month of August 2008 is $34.85 – I finally broke through the 2 digit barrier , now on to break the $50 mark.

Paid posts were the highest earners for me this month, bringing in a total of $19 from both private paid posts and Bloggerwave. The other way I managed to earn this month was from private advertisement deals which brought in $15.85.

Again, this month I wasn’t able to access my GPT sites, so I have no idea how well I’m doing on them and so their earnings aren’t represented here.

This month of September I’m thinking of expanding online and starting some new sites, I might run into time constraints and priorities conflict as my exams are just around the corner though. So I guess I’ll just have to see how things work out.

July 2008 Income Report

Another month has passed and I’m proud to say that my income has grown quite a bit. Even though it’s still pretty measly, but at least there is progress .

July 2008 Income Report:

• Miscellaneous earnings: $0.68
• BlogToProfit: $9.31
• Total: $9.99

My total income for the month of July is $9.99 – I still haven’t breached the 2 digit magical number of $10.00 .

As you can see that I didn’t earn any money from the GPT industry as this was the month I went back to Singapore for school where the boarding school I stayed in blocked most GPT sites, forcing me to stop my activities on GPT sites. All is not lost though, as I asked my younger brother to help me with them but I doubt he did much.

This month I earned the largest single payment ever of $9.31 from BlogToProfit by doing 2 paid posts for them. I actually had 3 offers, but as I did not trust them at first I only did 2 of them. Now that they have paid up, I really wished that I had just done the 3rd one as that will have earned me about $5 more.

June 2008 Income Report

The month of June has just recently ended and it is the first month that I ever managed to make money online . Even though what I earned is peanuts, however it has inspired and now I actually believe that it is possible to earn money online.

June 2008 Income Report:

• Gptreausre: $0.40
• Better-Bux: $0.09
• Cash-Hi: $0.06
• ClixNCash: $0.27
• Total: $0.82

Yup, so for this month I have managed to earn a grand total of $0.82 after all transaction fees have been taken into account. This was the month I tried out a few Get Paid To (GPT) sites, thus making it my sole income.

2 reasons why my earnings from the GPT sites are so low are because at first I did not believe they would actually pay and the second reason being my lack of referrals.

Anyway, hopefully this new month would see me earning more money .

Income Reports

This is the first post of a new category on Drett called “Income Reports”. In this category I will post all my earnings and a detailed breakdown analysis of my income of a certain month.

Why would I want to do this?

Well, I believe no entrepreneur’s blog is complete if there is no income report where other people can track his progress. Also, I believe this would inspire all of you .

My earnings are like 0 at the moment, but hey, this is a journey.

So now I officially open the “Income Reports” category.
